10. Do you recommend a concrete slab before installing the pool?

Any above ground swimming pool must be installed on a flat, stable and horizontal flat (level ground).

It is rather recommended to build a concrete slab under the steel and steel / wood swimming pools.

Be careful: anyway, for the oval pools without lateral struts, (steel or steel / wood), as there are struts to put in ground under the pool, you must consider this to leave the necessary space in your concrete slab (please refer to the instructions manual you can download in the technical data sheet of each pool).

11. Is it possible to put an above ground swimming pool into ground?

This is possible but only for pools with rigid walls and according to the rules detailed here after regarding the Gre brand pools. The producer will guarantee the swimming pool only if it has been put into ground according to these rules.

It must be noted that the filtration base must be at the same level as the bottom of the pool and that the ladder included in the above ground swimming pool kit is not a ladder for inground pools.

Moreover, we remind you that the part-inground or all- inground swimming pools must be provided with security equipment meant for restricting the access to the pool, according to the law 2003-9 of January, 3, 2003, to the decree 2004-499 of June, 7, 2004 and to the norms of application.

It is also possible to put into ground a part-inground swimming pool, always according to the rules of this leaflet.

Regarding the planning permission for an inground swimming pool, we recommend you to check with your local authority, in order to know if this is necessary.
